Throwback Thursday #2: Attitude

Something that I have always had is plenty of attitude. I always try to keep positive and not let other people get to me. But, being a caring person, that is not always easy. I trust to much and I always try to look for the good in people. However, if you cross me, I'm done. I will cry and be hurt for a while, but trust me - I've been through worse than you can EVER throw at me. I will bounce back and I will be a force to be reckoned with. I think this picture sums me up a lot - even though I was only 2 years old.

Music: Poetry In Motion (My List)

Music can set the tone for almost anything you want it to. I firmly believe that good songs can be lightning rods to transport us into a mood, another time, another place, etc. I have read a few articles and stories that discuss how music can affect our behavior, how music is used in health care through therapy, how music can improve depression, and even how music can increase our intelligence. This got me thinking – shouldn’t it stand to reason then that music can also enhance our sexuality? I am not one to always listen to music while having sex, but it can be very enjoyable.
In addition, the great thing about music is there is such a wide variety out there that it is very easy to find the best music to match your sex style. Whether you are into slow and sensual cerebral lovemaking, fast and hard heart-pumping knocking boots, or even the kinkier side of sexual play, there is music out there that the can set the tone for an amazing night.

Sinful Sunday #153: Return of the Polka-Dot Princess

As Molly says, Sinful Sunday is all about the image. In Week #128, I posted two popular pictures which gave me the nickname "Polka-Dot Princess". I'm quite proud of my cleavage and actually enjoy showing it off sometimes. I'm not always a fan of showing off my panties. But today, someone had me re-think that as an option.

Answering Your Questions – Week 5

Contrary to popualr belief, I am not constantly bombarded with emails and messages. But I do get some questions and inquiries from readers, either through email, DMs on Twitter, or even on Kik messages (SexInBmore if you feel like connecting). Keep asking your questions and sending your topic suggestions and I will fully satisfy you here (or at least try my hardest – I aim to please). Just remember to leave comments here on this page as well – don’t be shy!

Here are some of my latest favorites:

I Am Simply Honored

Three years ago, someone nominated this blog for a Mobbie Award from the Baltimore Sun. I was in complete shock that anyone was actually reading what I had to say here, let alone that a mainstream media outlet would ever consider a blog with sensitive topics like the ones I write about. That very first year (the third annual of the Mobbies), we won for Best Reader Engagement. I said it then, I truly felt like Sandra Bullock in “Miss Congeniality” – A fish out of water. Last year, when we were nominated again for Best Personal Blog, we didn't think we had a chance. We actually came in second, so I was again humbled to be considered. This year, nominations came down once again, and this time kids, we won Best Personal Blog.

So, since I am "anonymous" and could not make a speech, here are my thank you notes. Sorry they won't be as amusing as Jimmy Fallon's, but I will attempt to make you smile just the same.

Sinful Sunday Week 97: Poetry & Prufrock

I am not a fan of Valentine's Day really (as my recent return to Gutter Magazine will tell you). However, I am a hopeless romantic and a big fan of love. When I think of love, I often think of poetry.

Sinful Sunday Week 92: What's In Your Imagination?

As Molly says, Sinful Sunday is all about the image. Images can be visual, but we can also create mental ones with our words. That is something I always attempt to do here. I want my readers to experience everything that I feel. Every touch, every emotion, every thought can lead you to more pleasure. I believe being open and honest is the only way to truly engage with another person. Simple talk can lead to very sexy talk. Today, the image I present was suggested to me by Hubman. I generally prefer the way my cleavage looks in a bra, but I think this picture turned out fairly well.

The sexiest "organ" that we possess is our brains. We use our imaginations to feel our lovers close to us when they are not physically there. We let our minds wander into deep fantasies that we hope to make a reality. We carefully focus on every movement during sex to bring ourselves to the point of pure ecstasy So, what do you think about as you look at me here? Can't wait to hear your "stories" :)

A Little Catch-Up, Part 1

Hello my lovelies! Just thought I would catch everyone up on some things that are happening with your girl and this blog lately.

I'll Take #2

The Baltimore Sun held their Fourth Annual Mobbies awards for best social media and blogs in Maryland. Last year was my first year to be eligible and I actually won for Best Reader Engagement blog! This year, we were once again nominated in the Best Personal Blog category (Thanks to whoever nominated me! I would thank you personally if I could).

No Other Way To Really Say It - Thank You!

I truly feel like a Sandra Bullock in “Miss Congeniality” – A fish out of water. How in the world did a little quirky girl like me find myself in the running in a Blog contest sponsored by a mainstream newspaper? Not to mention, how could a completely anonymous outsider even put up a decent fight in a contest in which a super-talented and tight-knit blogger community usually fights to support each other? I couldn’t begin to tell you all of the planets and stars that aligned and came together to make it happen, but I can say I have the best readers in Baltimore (and beyond) because we did it. We won a Mobbie!
